We no longer live in trees and savanna, where the ability to kill an aggressor will aid in our survival. We live in a society with billions of people, and only the prefrontal cortex induced suppression of the reptilian amygdalal systems (look up emotion and intelligence to learn more) will allow us to move forward on this planet as a group of life… together.
Survival in this world is reliant on survival of others with whom we can consense.
