At any rate, Who appreciates staff?

Logically staff of this forum, but lets expand the concept. How about staff of any position or field? Think of this as a means to collect data, regardless if it is unimportant to your studies(I assure you it is unimportant to xenosociobiology and microbial ecology). You know what they say,

Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back

I know, laymen right? Truth is I avoid jargon, but I am not affraid to use it

It's overrated...Unless your the Greedy, I don't give a damn about you type.

In my younger days I always felt...If management treats you right, there is no need for unions, and I've worked for all three.

Myself
Unions
Managment

When I was comming up, union or not, there was a hirarchy that said, with experience one had privileges, but that is not so today.

I have part-timers, and temps come up to me and ask why are you not working as hard as me?

They do not understand, that with experience I do not have to work as hard as they do.
I can stand around the floor, and can see a problem developing, and act before it gets out of hand; instead of standing around and gassing with 'my friends', and watching someone else 'put the fire out'.

Usually, when I direct a fellow associate to act, they will look at me like 'Who the he-- are you to tell me what to do' by then its too late, and I have to tell them later that you need to 'trust me' and I'll explain later.

My company put the glass ceiling on my carer a few years back, when they said that no one will advance, unless one has a college degree.

Well that would be okay except for the fact that these 'college grads' don't know a damn about the job or the work that is involved in getting a paper on the street, sure they have the 'degree', buttt....they don't have the Experience!!!

Look around you, it's everywhere, my problem was I don't like kissin' A-- or 'networking or smoozin' or whatever ya wanta' call it, but if you wanted a problem solved call chendoh.

Boerseun, can I come visit SA?

They are a bunch of stellar people who spend an awesome amount of time working for free to help people help themselves. Sometimes people yell at them, and sometimes they yell back, but Hypography sure wouldn't be what it is without them.

Speaking of big-headed staff members. I have been thinking of changing my signature. I don't think the lightning bolts inspire real fear. I am thinking of changing to the ebola virus.
