happy new year to all.
I got a new 8" f/4 telescope for christmas and, I will be posting my observation reports here, if anyone cares to read them.
the things that I would like to see..... more people using this site. so, I have been telling a few people about it.

Is it an Orion SkyView Deluxe? I believe I remember you mentioning it on astronomy.com. Yes, please do post your reports (may be time for that forum for astronomy topics Tormod ) Thanks for getting the word out about the site deamonstar!

no, it is not an orion (I don't have that kind of scratch). I got it on e-bay for $220. it may not be the highest quality but, it is a decent scope... and, at the price, you can't beat it with a stick.

an astronomy forum would be cool. I've been pretty busy lately... so, I'll post an observation report when I get some more time. and I'll be getting 2 new eyepieces this weekend and, hope to use those asap.

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.
