Bored, and can't get to the Interneet?
Here's something you can do with an old tired game to freshen it up. Solitaire.
You can reset the options on this game to "turn 1 card" on each turn instead of 3, turn ON the timer, and turn OFF scoring.
What you are playing is now Speed Solitaire. The idea is to win the game as fast as possible. How fast is possible?
Would you believe two minutes? Probably.
Would you believe 1.5 minutes? probably not.
Would you believe my best time is 51 seconds?
It is to laugh.

I regularly win the game about 1/3 of the time, and my average speed is under 80 seconds. I even have a scoring system:
I play a dozen (12) games in a "Set" and I score:
25 if my time is in the 50's of seconds;
10 if my time is in the 60's of seconds;
5 if my time is in the 70's of seconds;
3 if my time is in the 80's of seconds;
2 if my time is in the 90's of seconds;
1 if I win the game at all with a time of 100 or more seconds.
My best 12-game score is 53.
To play at these speeds, I turn cards at the rate of 1 every 3/4 second -- or even faster.

I don't fret a missed card play, but often keep on turning, making a mental note to catch that card on the next round.
I make mental notes as to what cards I'm looking for to increase my reaction speed when they pop up.
I do allow myself to undo the current move (turning 1 card too many) so I can play the previous card. This costs a lot of time so I do sparingly.
Clicking the right mouse key will auto-play to the Aces much faster than I can play them. I play with a finger (from different hands) on BOTH the left and right mouse keys.
