Interesting websites

Has anybody accidently stumbled upon an interesting website recently or ever?

I ask because I found one called Crankdot Net, that unexpectedly I discovered wasn't totally full of crazies but had some interesting site references on it (or am I so insane that I didn't notice the awful truth?)

I wondered if anybody else had accidently done the same thing - that is found a good site by accident? (Hypography for me could be included in this as I ended up on it by misreading what a friend had told me about another science site and thought this was it (it wasn't))
