Internet forums and cultural exchange

I'm writing a paper on cultural exchange through internet forums. anyone got any thoughts on the topic?

Interesting pointers:
- development of "forum culture" and subsequent enculturation of newbies
- differences between "eastern" and "western" forums (say compare vBulletin with 2chan.net)

Re: Internet forums and cultural exchange

i think of dynamic polar binaries,
toaist oneness
and om
when I think about internet forums coming together to exchange cultural data.
