| Thinking | The Nukes next door. The recent suspicious transport of 5 nukes from North Dakota to Louisiana, led me to research missing nuclear weapons and nukes in general. The stringent handling and movement procedures of these weapons only matches their seriousness and lethality. Which makes it extremely hard to swallow the USAF explanation that this was just a series of military blunders. There is the idea that this was a calculated mistake. I also found an article about a secret uranium production in a Tennessee nuclear power plant. Apparently there was a big leak in 2005, and no info released until recently. (* some 9 gallons of highly enriched uranium solution was leaking and it wasn't noticed until seen pouring into a hallway). In this time the gov't paid to destroy over 1,700 documents from its public archive, these papers detailed any safety violations they have made. This company, Nuclear Fuel Services Inc. is the provider of fuel for the U.S. Navy. I'm not suggesting they are connected in any way. Just wondering what everyone else thinks about that glowing pool in the backyard. -yellow | |

| Thinking | Re: The Nukes next door. They said that anyone within proximity of the clean up was susceptible to illness. Then there was no more mention of health of employees. They did try to make reassuring comments like.. "We live in this community and take our stewardship very seriously", said the executive vice president. Quote:
The worst part is, every story on this is ended with news about how they, Nuclear Fuel Services Inc., are going to sell the company inside the year because of "the company's increasing value to a booming nuclear power industry." "We are in a position of strength," company spokesman Tony Treadway said.

| Politically Incorrect | Re: The Nukes next door. If you think the Nukes were accidentalllly loaded, you'd probably be be in the majority of Americans who didn't hear about it, didn't Care, or didn't Believe it. You don't misload several Nukes. They are headed for Iran ---------------- There is Truth in Wine and Children | |

| Thinking | Re: The Nukes next door. I'm concerned with the elite group of military and government who have control over these weapons, and why they are playing games with them. Or us. I know this was not a mistake. I guess I need to accept that I am not going to know the truth. For it is something to be feared and guarded, as my government has taught me. | |

In light of 9/11, I must ask why the security was so deliberately lax, did they have wind of some sort of 'attack'?

I'll agree with you on that Hill, especially if you look at the US housing figures since 2001 and consider the continuing decline of the US dollar. We have a name for that, "Passion Fingers".
