interested in deja vu, dreams and parallel universes?

I'm trying to find out if they are all connected? I believe that they are, just from my own experiences but there's so many different ideas about it all. That's why I'm here to talk to all of you people here. So, Hi!:-)

Re: interested in deja vu, dreams and parallel universes?

Hi there, and welcome to Hypo!

Deja vu is simply an illusion. You see, you've got a piece of stuff somewhere in your pip which keeps track of the order of events. And when you experience deja vu, it's simply that tiny thing slacking on the job and skipping a few beats, trying to catch up to the world, giving you the distinct feeling that what you're experiencing has happened before.

It is, of course, closely related to the lesser-known feeling of Veja du, or, in common English, "The Feeling That This Hasn't Happened Before". But that is simply the little gob in your pip actually doing its work, and is rarely noticed. Which goes to show that people only ever acknowledge your presence when you screw up and fall asleep at the switch. Hard work is rarely noticed.

Re: interested in deja vu, dreams and parallel universes?

I noticed when I was younger that the events in my dreams would unfold in the days to come. Usually no more than a couple weeks. I never knew how to explain, or really attempt to since I expected no one to believe me, therefore just mumble deja vu.
I enjoy the idea that the subconscious is observant at all times of everything to be recieved, the conscious only takes in a fraction of the world. Everything else is catalogued and categorized by the mind, only to be released through methods other than average waking perception. Little extra bit of effort or total abandon of effort, so to speak.

I love my dreams, and I want them to tell me everything that I do not get otherwise.
