Worship and Nature

In this treacherous world, some people stand by God and some Against him, others choose a definition to them as they fit,

Some people say that they are absolute devotees of God and some say they are staunch atheists,

Some spend day and night lost in the thought of God,experiencing eternal bliss,
Some, the hands of toil they kiss

there are many stories of God influencing some lives strongly,
Others just ignore those blindly,

Some say that God doesn't exist,
Some say they don't worship.

But those who do, what do they worship?
a shroud of Turin, the Holy Mecca?,Some Holy Parchments or Books, Or stone idols?

Isn't Nature the one thing that we Worship?
For indirectly or Directly, it amounts to it!

Re: Worship and Nature

The stuff above relates to the worshipping of the five elements ( as per Hindu Mythology) - Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Ether.
We say that we worship God, but aren't we worshipping nature also in the process of worshipping God?
We say that God created the Earth, But isn,t God also susceptible to atleast a few laws of Nature?

Re: Worship and Nature

And from an unbiased point of view,
Nature was created which inturn created us- Humans.
If humans didn't exist than would God have been there?
That is If nature didn't exist, would God have been realized?(i think not)

So this leads to another question,
is God A creation of Man? or is it Vice-Versa?

I am hopelessly confused!

Re: Worship and Nature

Fruitful conversation you seem to be having with yourself. Worship is for followers. It's time for more leaders.

Re: Worship and Nature

You say that the world needs leaders, but isn't the world already being led by someone?
the ever revealing bible code is an well known witness to the fact that the world already has a leader, leading us to a certain apocalypse or a hair line miss to doomsday?
the world may need a leader...
either one who will bring upon mass destruction and relive us of pain and misery permanently by making us join the world we were worshipping?
or
he will bring upon a beneficial change to mankind
by
bringing upon us a drastic evolutionary change,
or by
bringing out a brainwave that would save the world and change it from an approaching end
or by
seeking out an another earth

Re: Worship and Nature

It is argued that in many temples of south India and even in the Holy Bible that the long Past generation met with their future generation yet to come..
so you may say that the world still exists.... but how?
will the earth be barren or will it be full of life?
or the apocalypse has been postponed?

when we worship nature, are we also keeping something as remanants to worship onto?
i.e. when we worship nature do we decimate nature while worshipping it?
TBA

P.S - the south indian temple part-- i have seen it myself, there are people in the ancient age old inscriptions who look like they wear a space suit kinda thing, and just next to it is a premature/advanced ( dont know, since it is not this gen's model) of a apparent telescope.
i think i have photographed them, let me see...

The dominating biblical religion that promotes a 'one god concept' with the chauvinistic lion being portrayed as the Sun god is the major problem with the biblical version.

On the other hand, the Moon's fetal image that represents the women as Creator Gods is being downgraded as inferior to the Sun god.

The portrayal of woman as 'sinners' is a gross lie that does them an injustice.

So the lion that represents death as a killer god is the accepted norm and of course, weapons rule.
Another thing that promotes the sun god is the color of gold. This remarkable metal is untarnishable and promotes the idea of 'everlasting' life because it simply does not oxidize as the other metals do. So it represents capitalism since it was the original medium of exhange in trading goods and admired by the ancient Egyptians.
Dollars have recently replaced gold as the medium of exchange.

So now we have 'rule' by guns/cannons and dollars as governing our lives.

However, Islam has established itself as god also and attacked the guns and dollars rulers with its 9/11 attack.
So now we have two gods trying to establish themselves as who is the 'one god concept' that the bible promotes.
Looks like this is going ro be a 'long' war.

Re: Worship and Nature

There are so many people in this world..who believe that their God is superior and they are still sulking in that dark canopy which barricades them from experiencing paradise
the sun God being portrayed as a lion, is probably another witness to the fact that we also worship nature indirectly..
take for example the norse,egyptian,greek,indian-(complete) mythology,
all gods control some or the other element, or a form in which the elements manifest itself..
it is very evident that in many parts of the world in ancient times..women have been considered lowly, for many reasons.
according to the moon and the sun philosophy-the sun is way brighter than the moon may be the cause of this social division..

TBA
also the long war which you were referring to..it has been predicted by the bible code,nostradamus,etc..that a third anti-christ will arise that would lead to a long war in which the world will be burnt(probably by a nuclear weapon)

Re: Worship and Nature

look at it this way.
back in the day people saw the universe differently than we do these days.
in the future, people aren't even going to people.
This boils down to the fact that a lot of people are just dumb monkeys.
Truth has it's ways of spreading.
Truth adapts, too.
So just accept that the mysterious brain, individuality, feelings, memories, and black holes fly around the inside of your skull.
