Good question.
OTOH: I have visited a number of websites over the years that I thought were wonderful, clever, profound, full of juicy knowledge and all that -- and yet, after a few visits, I never went back. Can't tell you why in all cases. In some cases, I felt I had nothing to contribute. In others, the content of the site never changed and got bored. Why I felt so motivated to spend so much time on this site (before I got to make so many friends) is a mystery to me. Why I stay now is obvious.
