Well, putting on my "moderator hat", I feel obliged to state that copyright materials should not be reproduced on Hypography because of obvious legal issues.
Instead of posting a scanned page from the book, perhaps quote some text and give proper credit so as to stay within the boundaries of "Fair use".

Perfectly readable.

I suppose perception is 9/10ths of the game, but no, that was not my intention.

Fair use in review !
I am giving the book a great plug!
Amazon allows you to read pages.
I could never type all that!
Paraphrasing is a good skill to have.

I don't think you have crossed the line and I didn't mean to imply that you were unaware of the copyright concept. Sorry to hear about your own personal experience with copyright infringement. It's hard to control such things...

More on topic, the book looks like a fascinating read. A good one to put beside the loo.

Talking Re: What did you get for Christmas?

I can see the pic but just can read the chapter title [Religious Matters] and not a single body text. Too low resolution man!

For what I got during X'mas then, this is the list:
  • a few silly ecards, 2 cannot open (sorry my friends)
    3 SMS
    2 MSN message
    2 emails
    1 comment/greeting from my blog

On the other hand, please be reminded that this is Shanghai, we do not have Christmas holidays yet:
  • a fruitful biz meeting
many good news from my biz partner
    3 PPT (to write)
    a biz trip to HK
    another sleepless night

You could make a new Christmas Carol
"On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me. . . one email card" etc
(You need to know the VERY (silly) English song the 'Twelve Days of Christmas')

I got a beatiful dark dusky green shirt made from hemp
It feels so great on your skin quite different from any other material
I am thrilled with it.

It has a little advertising blurb that goes with it, that I found fascinating.
With luck you should be able to read it on attachments

Re: What did you get for Christmas?

For the record, scanning a single page for the purpose of showing a book is fine by me, as long as the source is quoted. Which it is here.

I got The Wire season 1 and 2 DVD box sets (brilliant!)! And homemade stuff from my daughters, plus some clothes etc. Christmas ain't what it used to be!

I got a pretty blue silk blouse, a Burberry muffler, a sleek black Coach purse, and the little one and I are sharing the DVD set I got her of Doctor Who (the new one) Series Two....she's become quite a fan...

I just saved the world in my pajamas, very Arthur Dent,

Buffy in Pajamas, dribble,
No knuckle dragging here please!

The sonic screwdriver is proving to be a challenge.
The is something wrong with a high-tech.,37th century, sonic screwdriver that needs a Philips head screwdriver to install the (many ) batteries.

The Instructions to do this are Mars landing Instructions at the least.
A TARDIS operating manual at best
(See scan if I got it right)
