Science is the attempt to explain everything. This means how everything complies with reason. So I think the ultimate goal of science would be to derive physics from logic alone. Then everything is necessarily reasonable.
Though arguable a math, not science grail, as affirmative question to Hilbert's second problem, as vague and unobtainable a thing as the legendary Arthurian grail.
