Re: R&R Name That tune!
How about this one?

Girl
there are really no words strong enough
To describe all my longing for love
I don't want my feelings restrained.
Oh
Babe
I just need you like never before
Just imagine you'd come through this door
You'd take all my sorrow away.

Nope.
It's still in the rock genre. You just have to go back to the mid 80's. The band was popular, particularly in late 70's and early 80's, but they weren't known for being heavy.

It seems to me that people tend to prefer to believe what they want to be real or true, despite evidence to the contrary.
When what you believe is refuted by evidence, you are faced with a choice.

Losing my Religion - R.E.M.
FWIW, that song was released on Feb. 19, 1991, not in the 80's.

I used to like Journey, it was a great band but a friend of mines wife left him and he sat around a listened to Journey feeling sad and eventually I had to take all his Journey albums and beat him to death with each one, it wasn't pretty but it had to be done.
Pamela, think of small "bug like" things that sting and pinch! That's your clue!
