Reflextion

I have found myself very busy lately, but somehow i always find time to read! And in one of the books I am reading, there is a person looking at our era and sayin how he feels about it...

"Famine they intended to wipe out in the century. Diseases they would destroy no matter what the cost. They argued ferociusly about the execution of condemed criminals, the abortion of unborn babies. And the threats of 'environmental pollution' and 'holocaustal war.' [And] they battled these fiercely, as men have battled witchcraft and hereset in ages past."

What does everyone think of this? The first time I read it I laughed, and then I reaslied that she was very right....

I don't understand your post, OP5. Is there a question about something?

Re: Reflextion

I am very impressed Tormod. How did you find out the book?
My question is basicly what are posters thoughts to this?
Is this a true statment?
TO compare what some people beileve so strongly in to the "witch trials" which were basicly disastors, seems rather....madane.

Like I said, I am only looking for thoughts.
