| Explaining | Re: What's the best game ever made, in your opinion? And why? I still regard Worms as one of the best games ever. You never get bored of it playing with your friends. All the strategy comes into play. whether it be dexterity, preciseness, or strategic planning and teamwork. | |

| | Re: What's the best game ever made, in your opinion? And why? Opinion for Best Video Game: Silent Hill series. The Silent Hill games have excelent and well thought out story lines (although the storys are a little out there ), a perfect mix of jump and psychological scare tactics, puzzles that fit into the evironments (which range from practicly giving away the answer to 'you better study up on history, literature and cultural references' to answer), with a bit of action using lead pipes, pistols, shotguns etc... With each installment Konami is making this series more and more impressive.Opinion for Best Board Game: Risk. World domination, nothing better then it (that is unless you wish for the more specific game that I think is a rip-off, called Axis and Allies). The rules are fairly simple, there are even chances of winning when attacking or defending, all over a great strategy game that makes you think out your next actions. Opinion for Best Sport Game: Although there are a few I like, the one I respect the most is a game my friends and I created for hacky sack (kick bag). We call it Kill. The point of the game is to 'load' the hacky sack with either three kicks between two people or you do a special move. When it is loaded your job is to kick it at another person. After that is done, if a person does not touch it with their foot before it hits the ground, then they get a letter spelling out KILL. This game helps stretch your legs, your general flexability, and keeps you alert. If your not alert you may end up like a few people I know or even like me, who gets a bag filled with sand or beads hurled at your face at around 20+kph. Only stings for a few moments... after you have regained your senses. ![]() ---------------- -神恵「争い」癒す Hypographyのネットワーク管理者 "All that we see or seem, is but a dream within a dream." -Edgar Allan Poe Last edited by Killean; 03-12-2005 at 07:20 AM. | |

| Existing | Re: What's the best game ever made, in your opinion? And why? My favorite game...Probably Dungeons&Dragons, the pen and paper game. I haven't played it much, because I can't find a DM, but it has the most replayablity of any game, and it is engaging. As far as electronic games - Baldur's Gate II, with over 200 hours of game play I've replayed it at least once a year for the past four years and never been bored. ---------------- Hypography Forum Administrator | |

As for electronic games, wow, there are so many. Metroid was the best console game ever. The most fun I ever had with a computer game would have to be either Civilization 3 or Out of the Park Baseball (an obscure text-based strategy version of a baseball game that blows everything else out of the water). ---------------- Currently reading: The Age of Spiritual Machines by Ray Kurzweil and The Golden Transcendence by John C.
