I was about to guess 'Monkey', but one could train a monkey to open a door I suppose?.....................Infy

Close enough but ass luck has it no cigar, because the answer is a mammal, and ends in -key and is also taken as a symbol of bad behavior as are monkeys. The riddle continues.

Hypography?

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.
