I think, if I did my (quick) math correctly, that the clock would be 11 minutes 15 seconds fast.

I still think it's too poorly written to count as fair, but what the heck. I say the clock (I don't know which one) is fast by 19 minutes 15 seconds. In any case, it sounds like it's time for Moody to get a new watch or fix the clunker he's got.

For any who care:

The station clock is 3 minutes fast.

The morning journey took 65 minutes, and the evening journey therefore took 52 minutes, and the train arrived 57 minutes after it should have left, that is, 3 minutes early.

I disagree.. I think the riddle is flawed in its own logic, I tried to do the math but found it was inconsistant.. but you never know its not like Im studying second year math, what would I know

Hypography [n.]: A combination of "hyperlink" and "bibliography" - ie, a list of links to electronic documents. Comparable to discography and bibliography, but not cartography.
