Hello Mr. Turtle, is the answer "Batman"
Erhm...no, not Batman. That would be a proper noun.

Another hint: the name means something different to thespians than to plebians.

Re: Riddles

hey William,
your answer for Moon cannot be correct as there is incontinence among adults for various reasons

Moonshine- bite their own toes?
of course that would be a matter of preference

Mr. Turtle, could the answer be ....Poker or Stud Poker ???

Just a shot in the dark as the thespian hint is not helping

I think that we are going to need a strong clue Mr. Turtle, okay ???

Not poker, or stud poker, or priest as in pastor.

As to 'strong clue', well, that's no more or less than giving the answer in my vernacular. It's a riddle & I mean it to be hard. One more weak clue then.

I am the tableau the joker plays upon,
in spite of my name I transcend gender.

hint: not a proper noun

hint: the name means something different to thespians than to plebians.

hint: it is not bent

Not court-jester, as the joker is the jester. {weak hint: Such folk have many names. } I didn't put the answer in the riddle...like Freezter did in his riddle-riddle which really threw me!! This is a toughy. {a weak-weak hint } ...................
