alright, this is a random question for you guys because i don't know who else to ask.
do any of you know of a music school in the bay area that i could attend and study the recording arts (and jazz guitar, if it's optional)?

The best college I know in the US is in Boston, it's called "Berkley college of music" or something to that.

you're right rocky, i DO want to stay out of the music business
i just want to progress my music skills, i am not out for the money at all.
in fact, i wish i could stay far away from money.
but i need money to buy grapes. that's why grapes are now free.

cool, I see it's related to the berklee college of music in Boston. A lot of my favorite musicians went there: Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, All the guys from Dream Theater.

Why not move to Tennessee and enroll in the music program at Middle Tennessee University in Murfreesboro? After getting your degree, you can become an intern for one of the record labels on Music Row. Do you like country music at all?
