Exotic Places, Exotic Faces

As I was out riding my bike this afternoon ( getting my daily bout of exercise and a thorough drenching ) I was inspired with an idea for a new thread!

Where is the most Exotic place you've been??
What did you learn? and why was it so great?
Where would you like to go? ( if you haven't really been anywhere, or even if you have )

Here is a chance to Brag a little about your international jet-setting adventures!
From Alaska to Zambia...
From Atlanta to Zurich...
Lets here about your Experiences!

My most exotic adventure was the year I spent in Venezuela as a Foreign Exchange Student.
I traveled extensively within Beautiful Venezuela.
The people are friendly, (although it is a VERY dangerous place), and the women are absolutely stunning!! ( more Miss Universes from Venezuela than anywhere )
My "happy spot" in my mind is Playa Del Agua, on the hot sunny beaches of Margarita Island! ( Cold Beer, Hot women! )
I went to the top of the Andes, (Pico Bolivar), Rafted the Orinoco, and saw the Amazons! A great learning experience. ( i went to school there, and there were some boring days, But..)
I Learned Spanish, (which mine is a little rusty now), and about the wonderful Latino Culture. My friends were other Exchange Students from around the globe and we exchanged our own cultures amongst ourselves as well. ( My best friends being from Jamaica and Italy )

I am currently entertaining the fascination of Mountain Biking New Zealand! I hear it simply Gorgeous! Why, I don't really know. It popped in my head and I can't seem to shake it. perhaps because its probably the farthest place I could travel to from here and have a wonderful time.

Let us all know about your Exciting and meaningful experiences with your travels abroad. There could be a great possibility of sharing good advice.

Re: Exotic Places, Exotic Faces

I am surprised people aren't reporting on their International Travels!!

Hypographites are all Around the World!!

I have limited experience with foriegn travel; the year I spent in Venezuela, and the trip I took to see my Buddy in Vienna, Austria.

I don't really count Canada as an 'exotic' place because I live in Washington State.
However, If you're from say, South Africa, then Canada would be an Exotic place!!!

The world is SO interesting with it different cultures; We really should Expound upon it.

Plus, what about the places YOU WOULD LIKE to visit???
Chances are that someone on Hypography could 'enlighten' you a bit!

Mt. Haleakala, Maui.

I leaned that the air is thin 14,000 ft up.
It made me cry, I was young.

Re: Exotic Places, Exotic Faces

The most...exotic...faces I think I've ever seen were in San Francisco.

The craziest, craziest people alive reside there...
I've seen a guy shoot up into his mouth on a corner, looking into the side-view mirror of a parked car...

(doubt that guy's still alive)
