Re: Dumb things people do...

English speaker, trying to communicate with non-English speaker, slows down and substantially raises the volume of their voice.

"Dude, I speak <insert non-English language of choice>. I'm not deaf and stupid."

Re: Dumb things people do...

There you are, and you've just told this really great joke involving a donkey and a parrot. Everybody laughs.

Then, this guy says, "you know, I heard a joke like that last week, only it was about this donkey and a crow and..."

And he proceeds to tell THE SAME JOKE !!!!

...even worse - he spends ten minutes telling the joke, and then says:
"Well, I can't remember the punchline, but boy, it was a good joke!" ...and then proceeds to laugh at this 'joke-without-a-punchline'.

I wanna box people who forget punchlines but tell the jokes in any case.

Nicotine is addicting and weed slows down your reaction time.

I heard this great joke the other day... I can't remember the punchline, but boy was it funny. It had something to do with a donkey, a parrot, and...

The gauntlet's been dropped, my friend. Bring it!

Btw... what's a "hooter?" I thought that phrase was always used in the plural...

No! No! It was the parrot! Yeah! And he says they should go into town and find the... well... it was either a church or a brothel. I think it was a brothel. And anyway, then the donkey said... Wait! There was a priest in here somewhere, uh... maybe he comes later. Anyway, the donkey said...
Oh! Oh! Oh! I know! The parrot said, let's go to the church in the village because I'm horny, and then the donkey said...
Wait, that can't be right. It must have been the donkey, that's right. I remember now.
