Do we have a Hypography distributed computing team?
There are many science projects being done with distributed computing, and I would love to run my computer under a Hypography Science Forums banner if one existed.

___We don't have a formal team, but a few of us play sandlot distributed computing. CraigD, TheBigDog, Pyrotex, Qwfwq, C1ay, Buffy & myslef pop to mind right away. We have computed here lists of right triangles, sets of strange numbers, Katabatak residues of powers, & factoring primes to name a few.
___This is an excellent idea! Gets people involved in real discovery; find the next biggest this or that. Doing something like this under Hypography banner is a neat twist. I bet the sandlot players have some ideas on corkin' a bat to exciten the play.

___I read the links & I see I mis-evaluated the setup. You want people to volunteer their machines for other peoples data; I was suggesting to use others machines for our data research.
