Trivia teaser Let's hear it from all you trivia hounds, give us a few clues about your little piece of trivia and see how long it takes for the membership to solve the puzzle.
There is a little piece of trivia that has often caused me to wonder about the answer but I never remembered to search it out. As luck would have it, I discovered the answer today while watching one of those cooking shows on the tube.
How many of you folks have ever wondered where the name, 'hot dog' came from. Well, according to the host of this cooking show, back before 1905, they were called, 'hot dachshunds', you know, weiner dogs. At any rate, during a baseball game a sports writer didn't know how to spell dachshund so he coined the phrase, 'hot dog'. Kind of cool, no? Anyway, if anyone of you folks have a bit of trivia to puzzle us with, or just want to spill the beans right up front, log on and let's hear your stories...............Infy

- Walk
- Hit by pitch
- Catcher interference
- Fielder's Choice
- Error
- Pinch Runner
- Passed Ball on called third strike
I won a prize on this one at a bar one night.
