100,000 posts

So, if you look down at the very bottom of the forum index page, you see a bar with forum statistics, which includes this:

Threads: 5,906, Posts: 97,791, Members: 3,351, Active Members: 547

As you can see, we're very close to having 100,000 posts, a nice milestone for Hypography. In fact, if the statistics hold right, we should reach it in a little over a week
So the question is...who's going to get it? Who will post the 100,000th post on hypography?

We actually have a post count of over 98000 because we did lose some of the older posts (most of which were test posts anyway) when we moved to a new platform last year.

But yeah, we should have some sort of prize for the 100,000th post...or maybe a raffle for those who are within 10 on each side to avoid having people post lots of "padding posts" just to up the counter.

98,248 posts is the current count, my guess is one more week and we will hit 100,000

maybe we could have a contest on who can most accurately guess when we hit 100k

Well, the average weekly posts starting in February has been about 1600, with there being more posts recently than before, so I think we have a good chance of making it!

there would be a lot of factors involved to guessing when we would reach it...post rate, likelyhood of devoted new members...
