looking for a word information

Ok, let me try and explain. I have been searching for a website that would give the meaning of a word in a variety of languages. For example: Prospect can have multiple meanings depending on the language, from prospectus to view to street.

thanks

Re: looking for a word information

Hello Vagabond -SC2-

This site might be useful, http://www.allwords.com/ as well as: http://www.etymonline.com and
http://www.infoplease.com/dictionary.html.

http://poets.notredame.ac.jp/cgi-bin/wn gets pretty detailed, but it might be worth taking a look.

Hope those help.
