Things that never cease to amaze you

Are there any things in the world that truly blow your mind, everytime they happen, as though you were still a child?

One facetious thing that springs to my mind is that when you turn your pants inside out, they also reverse position i.e. front becomes back and back, front (Mobius strip, trick).

Does anyone have any others?

The lightspread from a crystal or prism and of course, snowflakes

Mistatements like the pants thing never cease to amaze me. A pair of slacks is not topologically speaking a Möbius band, and neither do they reverse front for back by simply turning them inside out. Given no other action but inside-outing of a pair of pants in normal orientation, they end up upside-down and inside-out.

Gentlemen (Turtle/Mercedes Benzene).

Overt criticism of others is covert praise for oneself. If one of you wasn't a moderator and the other a sponser, I'd report you to yourselves (The very idea of picking on a creative genius like moi!).

It requires imagination to leap out of your underpants - ask superman. And where would science and the arts be without making connections, that others hadn't thought of? Stagnant, smug and boringly dead. I shall now go and sulk in my corner....grumble, moan...death to the unbelievers!..Me, no sense of humour...I'll kill the next barstard that accuses me of that..rhubarb (very barbed), rhubarb, rhubarb...

Watching my daughters sleep. It gives me an undescribable sense of happiness.

Ranking *almost* as high was watching the space shuttle Atlantis dock with the International Space Station - *live* - on Nasa webcast.
