Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho, that cluelessness has got to go!
Hey Ho Let's go,
Buffy

If I hadn't had the hat I had, had I had the hat I hadn't had?
Brevity is golden: "Who needs a hat?"
We can dance, we can dance, everybody look at your hands,

I think I'll go for some of that 'canned heat' now.
Because together we will stand, every boy, girl, woman and man,
Buffy

Buffy, if I can't get the Safety Dance out of my head I am going to blame you

Oh well!
You're out of control, the rivers that roll, you fell into the water,

In keeping with the references to the Tom Lehrer lyric referred to by you from "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" that this quote is responding to, I was referring to a *much* more obscure Tom Lehrer song from his infamous (but available on CD!) First Album, "Songs by Tom Lehrer" called The Irish Ballad, which contains the following verse:
One day when she had nothing to do
Sing rickety tickety tin
One day when she had nothing to do
She cut her baby brother in two
Served him up in an Irish stew
And invited the neighbors in
-Bors in. Invited the neighbors in
The reference of course was an unbelievably obscure play on the Nothing theme, and cannibalism coming in because they ate her baby brother....
And we had to make do with gin,
Buffy

Astronomical instruments needed to answer crucial questions, such as the search for Earth-like planets or the way the Universe expands, have come a step closer with the first demonstration at the telescope of a new calibration system for precise spectrographs. The method uses a Nobel Prize-winning technology called a 'laser frequency comb', and is published in this week's issue of Science. Read » | 0 comments
Stanford computer scientists have developed an artificial intelligence system that enables robotic helicopters to teach themselves to fly difficult stunts by watching other helicopters perform the same maneuvers. The result is an autonomous helicopter than can perform a complete airshow of complex tricks on its own. Read » | 0 comments
