Re: Great Science at YouTube

This clip is taken from the amazing film, "The Queen of Trees". I highly, highly, highly recommend this video to everyone. I saw it a couple years ago on PBS late at night and I was glued to the screen. I liked it so much, I ordered a DVD. It is by far my favorite nature documentary that I have ever seen. The sycamore fig tree of Africa is the epitome of ecological systems and the mutual dependence between this tree and the fig wasp is absolutely astounding. Unfortunately, they only have a couple clips on Youtube and the same preview clip at PBS.

Re: Great Science at YouTube

Wow! That does make a person really wonder what all the effects of loosing our bees will 'be' - on agriculture and eventually the whole ecosystem. Humm, troubling to ponder.

Good vid freezy
