The search for planets is in our minds one of the most exciting fields of science. Although the excistence of extra-solar planets is no guarantee for alien life, there is certainly an element of "looking for E.T." in this planet hunt.
Lately, the hunt for distant galaxies also revealed a surprise bonus: A possible tenth planet orbiting our own sun.
