Teleportation

Moving an object from one place to another in an instant would be a true scientific revolution. But can it really be done?

The art of teleportation has been one of mankind's finest dreams. By using the mind, philosophers and mystics have claimed to be able to move objects without touching them.

Real teleportation, however, would mean to move any object to any place in the universe. And it must happen without the passage of time!

Imagine being able to walk through a door and suddenly be on another planet, or perhaps in another galaxy. If it can be done, we could find ways to travel long distances through space. This could enable us to colonize the galaxy.

In the past years, scientists have proved that it is possible to move some of the most fundamental particles, photons, by quantum teleportation. This hypography presents results of this research, and some of the visions it has founded.
