This week we point the way to some of the greatest space image galleries on the web.

One of the perks of running a science gateway on the web, is that you get to see a lot of great websites.

When it comes to online galleries, there are many variations on the theme. Some merely display endless folders full of images, while others explain what you see, feature special images, let you create printouts and other features which are useful if you're looking for content for a paper or an article.

We're not saying one method is better than the other - it's up to you. But we really like the web sites presented below.
